I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for my husband Wesley. He’s my biggest cheerleader, supporter, and anchor. He followed me to Ireland, we took our first picture on the Cliffs of Moher, and the rest is history. Thankful every day that we get to do life together.
Hi there! I'm Anna, a chef with a passion for cooking that started at age seven back on my family's farm in the Ozarks. Winning Chopped At Home kick-started my culinary journey, leading to victories in local and state competitions and even placing in the World Food Championships. Instead of culinary school, I dove headfirst into the culinary world, staging at top Michelin restaurants and relishing local food experiences worldwide. Trading private dinner experiences in places like South Africa and Ireland, I've immersed myself in global food cultures. It sounds glorious, but the reality was marked by extreme schedules, undiagnosed chronic disease, and blurred work-life boundaries. Right when I was named "Chef of the Year" in my city, I had to stop cooking. God always has a plan, and the setback ultimately deepened my passion for cooking. With a newfound perspective from my previous time in Norway, I incorporated "Hygge" into my life. Now, certified as certified nutritional health coach, I use along with my culinary expertise to help others find balance and "Hygge" in their lives, sharing my journey from bedridden chef to a thriving, thankful one.
